The Data of the Day of Friend

Friend Day was adopted in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Decree No. 235/79, and was gradually adopted in other parts of the world.

The date was established by the Argentine Ernesto Enrique Febbraro. He was inspired by the arrival of man to the moon on July 20, 1969, considering the conquest a victory not only scientific but also an opportunity to make friends in other parts of the universe.

Thus, for a year, the Argentine released the slogan "My friend is my teacher, my companion is my disciple."

Gradually the date was being adopted in other countries and today, almost everyone, on July 20 is the Friend's Day is when people exchange gifts, embrace and declare their friendship with each other, in theory.

In Brazil, the day of the friend is celebrated in an unofficial manner on July 20.

The Friendship Day is celebrated in Brazil on July 20. Some say that on July 20 is the Friend's Day. Actually Friend Day is celebrated on April 18 in Brazil.
